What We're Doing

Through the Funders Oral Health Policy Group, an increasing number of private foundations are learning about opportunities for collective impact on oral health in the communities they serve. Promoting the engagement of these funders is creating new opportunities for public-private partnerships focused on systems change for better oral health across the United States.

With DentaQuest Foundation support, Grantmakers in Health is engaging its member health funders on opportunities for including oral health in their strategies. Grantmakers in Health hosted an Issues Dialogue on oral health in April, bringing together stakeholders from government, philanthropy and public health to learn about oral health issues and examine strategies for collective impact.
