DentaQuest Foundation Leaders Published in The Foundation Review

September 28, 2017

Leaders from the DentaQuest Foundation and its partners have recently published an article in the Johnson Center for Philanthropy’s peer-reviewed journal, The Foundation Review.

The article, titled “Foundations as Network Strategists, Weavers, and Managers: Learning From One Foundation’s Journey and Results” was co-authored by Brian Souza (DentaQuest Chief Impact Officer), Mike Monopoli (Executive Director, DentaQuest Foundation), Clare Nolan (Engage R&D), and Marianne Hughes (Interaction Institute for Social Change). It illustrates the non-traditional approach the DentaQuest Foundation has taken to advance the oral health movement. By investing in a network strategy, the Foundation and its partners have mobilized and empowered stakeholders from across the country to align around a unified set of goals and impact the systems of policy, financing, care, and community. The publication also details lessons learned during the first five years of the Oral Health 2020 initiative.
