Grantmaking is one way of achieving our mission of supporting and promoting optimal oral health. Any organization which approaches us about funding to improve oral health represents a potential opportunity.

We apply our philanthropic resources to the oral health crisis by funding programs that advance prevention, education, and improved access to oral health. DentaQuest Foundation grantees tend to be statewide entities which are focused on a systemic approach to oral health improvement. Grantees engage multiple partners and tackle multiple areas with similar challenges. DentaQuest Foundation funding supports collaborations of key stakeholders working to remove barriers to care, improve infrastructures, and bridge the divide between medical and dental health.

Grant making for the 2011 grant year will be initiated by the Foundation through a combination of competitive RFPs and targeted opportunities.
