Oral Health 2014 Initiative
|
Oral Health 2014 initiative is a multi-year, multi-milion dollar investment to strengthen and accelerate community action on behalf of better oral health and to support the U.S. National Oral Health Alliance (USNOHA.org) with engaged partners in the states. Grantees of the Oral Health 2014 Initiative are expected to develop plans for one or more of the six oral health priority areas developed by a wide range of stakeholders and which have been adopted by the Alliance.View RFP. Letters of Intent are due July 22, 2011. Application deadline is September 9, 2011. Awards will be announced in October, 2011.

National Interprofessional Initiative on Oral Health

The National Interprofessional Initiative on Oral Health (NIIOH.org) is a consortium of funders and primary care health professionals whose vision is that dental disease can be eradicated. This systems change initiative is engaging the education and training systems that support primary care clinicians from multiple disciplines, including Family Medicine, Physician Assistants, Nursing, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Internal Medicine, and Dentistry so primary care clinicians are alert to their patients' oral health needs, ready and willing to deliver oral health preventive services to patients of all ages, and effective partners with dental specialists.
